Men's Strong Guy - Dia De Los Muertos Selvedge - Bat
Naked and Famous
The Dia De Los Muertos Selvedge is a 12.5oz Japanese selvedge denim built around Mexico's Day of the Dead. It's woven in Okayama on vintage shuttle looms from rope-dyed short slub yarns, giving a textured surface that fades hard and vertical over time, and it's spun from 100% Mexican upland cotton — with a multicolour selvedge edge drawn from traditional sarape blankets.
The leather patch and pocket flasher carry original artwork by Mexico City tattoo artist José Ruiz (Koopa). This is the Bat colourway: in Día de los Muertos the bat stands for Camazotz, the Mayan death bat, tied to the afterlife, darkness and rebirth.
Strong Guy is a wide straight fit with a high rise — roomy through the seat and thigh, running clean and straight to the hem.
